Learning to write using the Shavian Alphabet
The key to learning to write in Shavian is the same with learning any other alphabet or language. Repetition and practice. It also helps to learn with a friend or find someone who knows how to write in Shavian and be pen-pals for a while. I learned by starting a daily journal where I write just a few sentences about my day. I am almost done with one year of writing and now I can write quickly and smoothly. This practice has also helped me enormously with my transliteration 'on the fly' ability. :-) See an example from my Journal below.
I recently came across a number of amazing examples of Shavian calligraphy & handwriting! Thanks so much to shawalphabet on twitter for making and posting these!! I am in love with them!!
