Second, I found this wonderful PDF of Shavian ruled paper by wurdbendur at Deviant Art. (See preview below) I wish I had this when I was learning to write in Shaw as it would have helped guide me enormously!
-PS. I updated the Software page.

First, a quick update on my transliterations. I am about 8 chapters into my second draft of Harry Potter and I am having an inordinate amount of fun rereading one of my favorite books in Shavian. The first draft of the Jules Vern book in Shavian is almost done as well but that project is currently on hold. I also transliterated the first chapter in the Dune book by Frank Herbert as well. :-)

I just became interested in the Shavian alphabet recently. It has not been long, but I can't get enough of it. I don't know why, well I know why this alphabet wasn't adopted, but it could have changed everything. There isn't a lot out there, and most of it is gone, so I was surprised to see a site that actually has 2012 in the date. Just wanted to say thanks for creating this blog.

Welcome! I enjoy trying to find Shavian 'stuff' to add to my site. I have a whole folder of things I need to post at some point. I am trying my best not to post things without citing where I got them but so many were collected before I started this site! 𐑕𐑳𐑗 𐑦𐑟 𐑤𐑲𐑓!

I am really happy knowing this! Harry Potter is the biggest seller in the world but still there are many who couldn’t read the book since it was not published in their local language! Such translation efforts are highly appreciable!

As I studied, Shavian is used to replace the difficulties of the convential spelling. Beauty and Brains are used. I came to know there are no separate capital and lowercase letters in Latin Script. It is interesting to read. Thank you for your useful information. As cure for snoring said, Harry potter want to be translated in their local language. Language is not a main issue so every book want to be translated in every language.
